Horses

Yesterday was the first day that I actually picked up my camera for real since summer vacation started. My brother and I walked to the horse farm that's at the mouth of our neighborhood.

This one was at the fence waiting for us when we got there. My brother calls him Grandpa, since this horse is older than all the others. He's my brother's favorite, with good reason too. Gramps is the sweetest thing. He's greeted me on numerous occasions when I'm shooting.

I love these two pictures. It gives off that warm summer vibe. (:


It's true - the grass is always greener on the other side.




I really need to get around to talking to the owners about getting closer to the horses. It's kind of a bummer being stuck at the fence all the time.
