Here is a picture of a very freaked out/dejected looking Shuggy. The poor thing can't fly at the moment, so he's resorted to seek out adventure by climbing the mountain that are my brother's roller blades. So, what happened to his flight feathers on his one wing?
Well, birds enjoy pleasant, spring weather just as much as we do, so we spoil our babies a little by putting their cage outside in the shade. We did that yesterday, just as we do everyday. It was all rainbows and butterflies until the sun set. My mom went to bring them in, only to find some cursed cat swatting at them. It's terribly tragic; all their attempts at flying today failed, so for their own safety, they're confined to their cage to prevent further face planting. I hope for their sake their feathers grow back soon. They just look so, so sad being couped up.
But on the optimistic side, I'm just so relieved they're alive. I don't know what I'd do without them.
